But we feel the same about Robin. There were even one or two interviews where the reporter asked Richard why he didn't get the Robin part...  ;)  :D

In my opinion She should be such!
It is my favourite character in NAORH!
But I like this Marion too!

The BBC said Marian isn't a maid anymore, because she and Robin had a relationship before he went off on the crusade... But she really seems like an interesting character to me. More than Robin, I'm afraid...  :cool2:

I I think  it is difficultly to surprise us if we are talking of Robin Hood.
But we are glad to see new Guy because He always can be more cruel or less and have another story of his live, as Marion which has always bifferent Image,bifferent Destiny!
And Robin He IS a LEGEND!

There's an interview with Jonas Armstrong, the Robin Who, in the Manchester Evening News:

Obviously this Robin should be quite dark himself:
Robin is a trained killer. He was part of the King's personal protection. So he's a very able fighter. And he has got a temper and can lose it. So he has got menace and a dark side.

I must say, he doesn't look like it,  :haha: but perhaps he will surprise us after all...  :sorry: I really hope so - it would make him a much worthier adversary for Guy of Gisbourne!  :D

Here's a part of an article in TV Times (it's mostly about Keith Allen, but I could only find the part considering "our" Richard Armitage  :D ):

MEET KEITH'S HENCHMAN!

North and South star Richard Armitage faces the challenge of playing Robin's other big enemy - Guy of Gisbourne, the sheriff's dangerous and deadly lieutenant.

'Guy is the sheriff's whip and he's used like a weapon. I have to go out and do a lot of torture and terrorising!' Richard, 35, tells TV Times News.

In the series, Robin (Jonas Armstrong) tries to claim back land that's been given to Guy. But Richard says Robin has quite a fight on his hands.

'Status and money are incredibly important to Guy. It's crucial for him to stop Robin!'

Guy should stop  Robin. The reason not only in money. Robin in this serial offends  royal woods.  :paladin:
It is not pleasant to me, that  Guy is named the  a whip of the sheriff.  :/

He should be independent.

Keith Allen mentioned in the BBC-Interview that the Sheriff is quite a coward and hiding behind Guy. That was the reason why he got Richards elbow in the face during a swordfight and lost a tooth.  :paladin:
